Our components

Our components consist of a both hardware in the form of sensors, pumps, control units, LED lights, as well as a grow system. Together these components form the Green City Farming hydroponic vertical farming system.

  • Grow system

    The pipes are assembled as vertical modules with different variants.

  • Lighting

    LED lights are used to regulate lighting per crop. The warmth of light is regulated depending on the needs of each type of crop.

  • Pump node

    The pump node measures PH, electric current, water level and flow in and out of the circulation pumps. It controls the power control unit and pumps among other things.

  • Power control unit

    The power control unit controls the pumps of 220W. Each rack of pipes has one pump.

  • Drip flow sensor

    These sensors are attached to each grow pipe to monitor the actual water flow in each individual grow pipe.

  • Sensor node

    The sensor node keeps track of the light, relative air humidity, temperature, CO2, camera, and through a number drip flow sensors, the water flow in the individual grow pipes. Each rack has one sensor node.

  • Flow sensor

    The flow sensor monitors the amount of water flowing into the pipes.
